This Privacy Policy explains how Jyra Health LLC ("Jyra Health," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit our website(s), use our mobile or web applications, or otherwise interact with any of our online services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services").
By creating an account, submitting information, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Services.
If you use our Services on behalf of another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that the other person has been informed of and agrees to this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are
Jyra Health LLC provides nonclinical administrative and technology services that help connect you with independent medical groups, licensed healthcare providers, and partner pharmacies that deliver clinical care and prescriptions. Jyra Health itself does not practice medicine, provide medical care, or operate a pharmacy.
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect information about you directly, indirectly through your use of the Platform, or from third-party sources as described below.
2. Eligibility and Use by Minors
Our Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older, or the higher age of majority required by the laws of the state where you use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or render it non-identifiable, except where we are required to retain it by law or as part of a medical record maintained for a provider.
If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, please contact us at admin@jyrahealth.com with the subject line "Minor Information Removal Request."
3. Health Information and HIPAA
Some of the information we process in connection with the Services relates to your health. How that information is protected depends on who is receiving it and for what purpose.
- Jyra Health LLC is generally not a "covered entity" under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA").
- Certain independent medical groups and pharmacies you access through the Platform may be covered entities or their business associates under HIPAA.
- In some circumstances, Jyra Health may act as a business associate to those entities and will handle "protected health information" ("PHI") in accordance with applicable HIPAA obligations and business associate agreements.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- "Protected Information" includes PHI under HIPAA and any health or medical information that is subject to additional protections under applicable state law.
- "Non-Protected Information" includes information that is not PHI or specially protected health information, such as your account registration details (e.g., name, email, basic contact information) and other data that is not received or used in connection with diagnosis, treatment, or payment.
Protected Information is used and disclosed only as permitted by applicable law and any Notice of Privacy Practices provided by your provider or pharmacy. Information that has been de-identified in accordance with applicable law is not considered Protected Information.
